Real-Time Environmental Monitoring
Environmental corrosion monitoring provides the short-term data needed to detect and limit the number of corrosion-causing occurrences. The traditional method of environmental corrosion monitoring requires the use of Corrosion Classification Coupons (CCCs). While this method is effective at characterizing an environment's corrosive potential, the time required for field exposure and analysis may generate results long after process and motor control systems have been damaged by corrosive gases. To protect these capital investments, Purafil created the industry's first real-time electronic corrosion monitor.

OnGuard 3000

OnGuard 3000 Atmospheric Corrosion Monitor
Purafil's OnGuard 3000 Atmospheric Corrosion Monitor is the first electronic instrument which provides real-time readings of an environment's corrosive reactivity level. The OnGuard also provides real-time temperature and relative humidity readings which affect the rate of corrosion. By using OnGuard, users may take preventive action before corrosion damage leads to costly repairs and production downtime. And because the OnGuard 3000 Monitor correlates with standards set by the Instrumentation Society of America (ISA) for classification of industrial environments, the OnGuard may be used to ensure manufacturers' warranties on electrical equipment.

OnGuard CCTOnGuard Continuous Corrosion Transmitter
The OnGuard Continuous Corrosion Transmitter (CCT) was discontinued on 1/1/2011 and has been replaced by the Purafil Onguard 3000 Real-time Monitor.
